The world-renowned clock manufacturers SMITH of DERBY, sponsors of the 2010 Central Council meeting, invite Central Council Members, other ringers, and friends, to visit a
WORKS OPEN DAY
at their Derby Headquarters on FRIDAY 28th MAY at 3.00pm.
This will be a fascinating opportunity to see at first hand the range of work undertaken by the company. In particular to hear about the largest mechanical clock in the world, recently designed and constructed in SMITH of DERBY's works to be installed in the Harmony Tower, the centrepiece of a huge commercial development in Ganzhou, S.E. China.
