All the fun is over...

Now that all the fun is over (all 5 peals, quarters and general ringing has been completed) the meeting starts on Monday. There was some nice handbell ringing at Melbourne during the service...

peal update

Well they got St Lukes and I am just listening to St Peters after 2 hours ringing - sounds good! Now off to the beer festival.

Story so far...

At least 2 peals have been scored this weekend: Duffield on Friday night and Ticknall this morning.
Duffield had a later start than arranged, as one person aimed to arrive at 4pm (for a 5.30 start), but got stuck in the traffic and arrived just before 6!

I've not heard from the other towers from this morning: Youlgreave and St Lukes, Derby.
I know that ten ringers met at St Lukes! The organiser had forgotten he had asked one person to ring, so someone else stood down. The tenth man didn't really want to ring, but then felt bad and got most of the bells up.
